Grayson Community Park, 1 Park Drive
Construction on Phase 1 of the planned park improvements has been completed. We have added a parking area specifically for the park and a parking area specifically for the patrons of the Arts and History Center and we have installed a new set of swings, which seems to be the most popular activity for the preschoolers visiting the park.
For those who walk their dogs in the park, we have installed "Doggie Pot" waste stations for you to use in picking up and disposing of dog waste. Help us maintain a clean park.
The larger pavilion will continue to be available for reservations at no charge for specific times of day and with a limit on how many guests. We require that you make your reservation by our application form. The form may be picked up at City Hall or download below. The reservation form will not be mailed to you. No reservation will be confirmed until the reservation form is hand delivered to City Hall. Forms that are mailed back to City Hall will not be accepted. Reservations are frequently made well in advance, so it is advisable to submit your application at least 2 months prior to the date your are requesting for the reservation. The reservation form includes all rules which must be acknowledged prior to acceptance of the form.
The smaller pavilion is available on a first-come basis. |
