LOCATION OF CITY OFFICES AND BUSINESS HOURS: The City of Grayson City Hall is located at 475 Grayson Parkway, on Highway 84. All City business is conducted during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday; (closed for lunch).
SCHOOLS: Children who attend public school in the Grayson area attend: Elementary Schools -- Grayson Elementary, Cooper Elementary, Trip Elementary, Starling Elementary or Pharr Elementary Middle School -- J. P. McConnell Middle School, Bay Creek Middle School or Couch Middle School High School -- Grayson High School or Archer High School. POLICE INFORMATION: The Gwinnett County Police Department is open 24 hours a day. For Emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 770-513-5100. FIRE DEPARTMENT INFORMATION: The Gwinnett County Fire Department has a station in Grayson. For Emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 678-518-4800.

GRAYSON PARK: The pavilions at the park are available at no charge. The smaller pavilion is on a first come - first served basis. However, you are able to reserve the larger pavilion. GRAYSON SENIOR CENTER: The Grayson Senior Group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. for a covered dish luncheon and meeting. The Grayson Senior Men meet every Friday at 7:40 a.m. in the Senior Center for coffee.

UTILITIES: Sanitation Service Sanitation Service within the Grayson city limits is provided by United/Robertson/Republic Services. Trash pick up is Thursday. Please have your containers by the curb by 7:00 a.m. You may have ONE large item per week but you must notify us or the service provider of this request by Wednesday. Yard debris pick up is also on Thursday. Yard debris must be in brown paper yard debris bags and there is a maximum per week of no more than 15 bags. Limbs must be bundled and tied no longer than 4 feet and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Yard debris will not be picked up if it is in plastic trash bags.
You may call the service provider directly at 770-867-4367 for customer service issues such as missed pick-ups or to request a large item pick-up, but you must call City Hall for billing questions and container requests.
The service provider only observes three major holidays: New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. As a rule, collection will run one day late if any of those holidays fall on a weekday. The normal Thursday pick-up will apply for all other holidays.
