Amendment to Zoning Ordinance
Notice is hereby given to the public that the City of Grayson, Georgia will consider an amendment to its existing Zoning Ordinance (adopted December 2023, as amended) which will result in changes to Article V, Section 510 related to Accessory Uses. Changes to this section will include regulations for Collection Bins pertaining to the permitted locations and maintenance management of these bins.
The City will conduct public hearings to consider these zoning decisions. A public hearing will be conducted by the Planning Commission of the City of Grayson on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. and by the Mayor and Council of the City of Grayson on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The public hearings will be held in the Grayson Senior Center located at 475 Grayson Parkway, Grayson, Georgia. All citizens are advised that the adoption of amendments to the zoning ordinance could affect the allowed uses of all property located within the municipal boundaries of the City of Grayson. All citizens are invited and encouraged to attend the public hearing(s).
