Rezoning of Property
Notice is hereby given to the public that the City of Grayson, Georgia will consider a rezoning of property at the request of the applicant, Shumate & Company, LLC. This property is located at 659 Grayson Parkway in Land Lot 121 and 122 of the 5th District of Gwinnett County and contains 1.519 acres. This property is currently zoned R-100, and the applicant is seeking to rezone the property to R-100 Modified for subdividing the property into five residential lots.
The City will conduct public hearings to consider this zoning decision. A public hearing will be conducted by the Planning Commission of the City of Grayson on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. and by the Mayor and Council of the City of Grayson on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The public hearings will be held in the Grayson Senior Center located at 475 Grayson Parkway, Grayson, Georgia. All citizens are advised that the rezoning of property could affect the zoning classification of this property located within the municipal boundaries of the City of Grayson. All citizens are invited and encouraged to attend the public hearing(s).
