The City of Grayson is proposing to close the intersection of Rock Springs Road and Grayson Parkway. The city has received complaints about cut-through traffic and speeding on Rock Springs Road due to drivers attempting to shortcut the line at Bennett Road. Residents are encouraged to participate in the public hearing process and provide input on the proposed road closure and abandonment. The city will hold a public hearing at the Grayson Senior Center, 485 Grayson Parkway, Grayson, GA 30017, on Monday, July 20, 2026 – 7:00 p.m.
