December 22 – 26:
- Tuesday’s sanitation route will be picked up as usual with no changes.
- Thursday’s sanitation route will be collected on Friday, December 26.
- Recycling routes will be completed on Friday, December 26.
- Boxes will not be picked up.
January:
- All routes will run as scheduled. No holiday schedule applies to any collection days in January 2026.
Additional Trash:
- You can place a maximum of three (3) additional trash bags beside your bin for Latham to collect on:
- Tuesday pickups: December 30
- Thursday pickups: December 26
- Boxes will not be picked up.
- Additional trash bags left on any other dates will not be collected.
Christmas Trees:
Latham will be picking up live Christmas Trees (a maximum of one (1) per home/per week) the week after Christmas. This service will run until January 15, 2026. You do not need to call these into City Hall.
Please remember to call in large items to City Hall at 770-963-8017 by the Monday before your scheduled pickup. Also, remember that your trash can lid must be closed for the arm on the truck to pick up the bin. If the lid does not close, you will be skipped.
