The City of Grayson will accept sealed bids from qualified contractors for the 2026 GRAYSON ROAD RESURFACING PROGRAM II – Wilshire, Windsor Creek & Grayson Parkway (S.R. 84) CONTRACT # 27-01.  The work consists of furnishing and installing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and related services required for a complete project in accordance with the Contract Documents.  This project includes but is not limited to milling, temporary traffic control, traffic marking, asphalt paving, manhole adjustments, and related work along the project limits. Bid Packages, consisting of drawings, specifications, and bid instructions are available by contacting Arden Powell @ 939ap@ppi.us. There will be no pre-bid conference for this project. Questions should be forwarded via email only to 939ap@ppi.us no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026.  Sealed bids will be received by the City of Grayson at the customer service desk at 475 Grayson Parkway, Grayson, GA  30017 and held there until 2:00 PM local time, Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at which time the Owner will collect and then open publicly each bid and read aloud in the same building. Only bids presented from a bidder that is on the plan holder list will be accepted and opened.  The required time of completion for this project is sixty (60) days from commencement.

OWNER requires a bid bond issued by a Surety listed on the Treasury as licensed in the State of Georgia, or a cashier’s check in the amount of five percent (5%) of your total bid to be enclosed with your bid at the time of bid opening to be made payable to the OWNER.  No other form of security will be acceptable. The bid package must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to “OWNER, c/o Precision Planning”. BIDDER shall provide one (1) original and one (1) copy in each envelope. Each bid sealed envelope must be plainly marked on the outside as “BIDS 2026 GRAYSON ROAD RESURFACING PROGRAM II – Wilshire, Windsor Creek & Grayson Parkway (S.R. 84) CONTRACT # 27-01.” Any and all bids received without the aforementioned criteria enclosed, will be returned to BIDDER. All bids must be made out on the bid form of the type bound in the Contract Documents, in accordance with the instructions in the Information for BIDDERS.  No interlineations, additions, or deletions shall be made in the proposal form by BIDDER.  No conditional Bids will be acceptable. Contract will be awarded on a stipulated sum to the lowest reliable BIDDER, based on the Lump Sum Bid plus any combination of Alternates (if appropriate) acceptable to Owner. OWNER reserves the rights to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within the time limit specified in the Instructions to Bidders Section 00100.
